A healthy business community
Batesville’s business community is strong and diverse. We still have several local employers whose business is rooted in the natural hardwood resources that drew our first industries, but they’ve been joined by a wide variety of advanced manufacturing, service, retail, and other organizations. From the largest to the smallest, those companies enjoy the quality of life here and the abundant supply of hardworking employees.
The business community is close-knit, with a very active Chamber of Commerce that provides opportunities for fellowship, sharing information, and participating in activities to enhance our community and its business climate. The Chamber also works closely with city government to sponsor events and maintain our area’s quality of life.
